Grays at Waikoikoi cemetery

 

When reporting on the Gray family of Waikoikoi, we discussed how there were 4 daughters, the fourth Catherine Jessie dying age 15. This is an older photo of the gravestone, easy to read, nicely cleaned up, but we wondered where it was. It is along a different row from Alex and Janet Gray, but near the grandparents...

and this is the headstone of their grandparents John Gray, Margaret Rodger, (both died 1904), adjoining the children’s one, photo taken facing the back hedge.
